Well it’s only taken us 10 years but finally we are plotting some VIBES T-Shirts.

They will cost £18 each, which is cost price including printing, your name can be added to your t-shirt.

The t-shirts are good quality breathable fabric so good when working up a sparkle in a VIBES class or good for outdoors running, cycling too.     I have an example of the t-shirt type which you can have a look at in class before you decide.  The medium size is a very generous medium so it’s good to have a look first before deciding on the size you order.

The design will be similar to below although the logo might be on the front instead of back.  We do not have an actual VIBES printed t-shirt to photograph yet.

So if you are interested in having your very own VIBES t-shirt let us know.

We will need from you:

  1.  Your size – Small Medium or Large
  2.  What name/nickname you would like on your shirt, if any.
  3.  Your payment of £18 before we order, we will only be ordering as many T-shirts as requested.

With effect from 6th April 2019 the way you book and pay for your classes will be changing:-


This is our first price increase in 10 years and over this time hall hire and other costs, insurance, music licences have increased.     So our new fees from 6th April 2019 will be as be as follows:

1 x class £6         5 x classes £26   or    10 x classes £50 

Our block bookings are still used as and when you can make class you do not lose a session if you are unable to attend so long as you have given us the relevant cancellation notice (see below for cancellation policy).


From 6th April 2019 we will be able to accept payment by debit/visa card as well as bank transfer or cash.

BOOKINGS  (this applies to our Indoor Cycling Classes only) 

Our Indoor Cycling classes will now be paid for in advance when a bike is booked.  Bookings can still be made in class in advance or via:

Mobile: Call/Text 079 078 44433 or Whats App Messenger or contact us on Facebook Messenger.

Please note our Circuit and Boxercise classes do not need pre booking but if you haven’t attended in a while please just check with us that nothing has changed re times/cancellation etc.   On rare occasions a class may have to be cancelled, generally notification is placed on our Facebook if this happens.


If you are unable to make a prepaid and booked class then please contact us to cancel the reservation by 9.30am on the day of the class.   Your payment will then be transferred to your next booking.    If you cancel after 9.30am then no refund is available.

VIBES New Year Message

As 2014 draws to a close, the VIBES Health & Fitness team would like to wish all of our friends a very Happy, Healthy and Prosperous New Year.

We would like to thank all of you for your continued support for the classes we provide. We aim to keep the format simple but effective, with the variety of classes on offer designed to cover all aspects of your fitness needs.

CIRCUIT TRAINING:- For that total body workout, hitting all of your muscle groups, cardiovascular system and core. No two circuit classes are the same week in week out, there is no pre-set format, you never know what you’re going to get!

INDOOR CYCLING:- An immense cardiovascular workout, great for weight loss in conjunction with the right nutrition. This class really improves fitness levels and is low impact on those joints.

BOXERCISE:- The ultimate stress buster after a hard day at work or with the kids. Learn a new skill and burn calories at the same time with games and combos galore.

BODY TONE:  A low impact total body workout, with more resistance based exercises and core work. Not as intense as circuit training but equally as hard work.

In addition to our classes in 2015 we will continue to run other FREE events outside our regular classes.   There will be more walks, cycle rides, ad-hoc fitness events, not to mention the social scene. We want everyone to enjoy the fabulous world of health and fitness as much as we do.

We are aware new fads will come and go and many will try to reinvent the fitness wheel in our industry through brightly coloured marketing and promises of quick fixes.

Our ethos has remained the same throughout our existence. Everyone is welcome, any age or ability, from any walk of life.    We won’t just throw you in at the deep end.

We ensure everyone new to us completes a pre activity questionnaire in order to tailor any specific needs for any existing medical conditions or injuries.   We will always provide appropriate guidance and suit workouts accordingly to every individual.

We are fully qualified personal trainers.  We pride ourselves on this.   We continue to study and gain additional knowledge and our clients wellbeing is our absolute priority.

So please feel free to bring your friends and family along in the New Year.

It is all down to you, however, and your continued support, that makes it possible for us to continue to do the job we are so passionate about.

This year we have worked right through the busy Christmas and New Year period and as such, we as instructors, require a short break. Classes will recommence in the New Year on Tuesday 20th January 2015.    We cannot wait to see you all again then.

So thanks once again, please keep spreading the VIBES word and we look forward to seeing you in the New Year.

Healthy Chef of the Year

Healthy Chef of the YearThis time last year we set our clients a little challenge. That challenge was to discover and try at least 12 new healthy recipes during 2013.  We have put together a PDF file of a selection of the recipes shared click here.

It is easy to get stuck in a rut eating the same meals and for those clients aiming to lose weight switching to healthier options is a must if they are going to succeed.   So the idea was to inspire each other to experiment with new recipes and tastes.

Clients shared their recipes on our Healthy Chef of the Year Facebook Group  feel free to join us as we continuing this group through 2014 too!

We are continuing our Healthy Chef of the Year Facebook group during 2014, so dig those recipe books off your bookshelves and get sharing those recipes.

Eating a healthy balanced diet is far from dull and boring and losing weight does not mean limp lettuce leaves.  Join the Facebook Group and make 2014 the year you try at least 12 new recipes.

Runners, how to reduce your risk of injury

Whether you are a beginner or an advanced runner adding cross-training into your workout regime has many benefits:

  • Significantly reduces your risk of injury
  • Balances your muscle groups
  • Maintain and possibly even improve your cardio fitness levels
  • Can be used to rehabilitate a running injury (we can offer advice about this  if you are injured)

What Christmas Bulge?

Beat the Christmas BulgeWhy not work on that Christmas bulge before it arrives, so you can start 2013 feeling fit and fabulous!

OK, so Christmas is a time for indulgence and on average most of us pile on half a stone during the festive season. So what can you do to prevent the the Christmas bulge?

Try our “Damage Limitation Plan”. It’s simple eat clean and move more! You still have three weeks of VIBES classes to get you moving. Compliment your workouts with good healthy clean eating and you will easily lose 3lb/1.5kg during this time.

When VIBES classes stop we aim to keep you moving with some easy 10 minute workouts you can fit into your festive schedule. We will be adding these workouts to our NEWS page very soon so watch this space.

Spin BikeSo eat, drink and be merry over Christmas having lost a few lbs in the run up then keep as active as possible to counteract some of those additional calories.

Remember it is so easy to consume around 6000 calories on Christmas day alone!! So over Christmas if you want to eat more without piling on the tubby tummy make a few smarter choices and avoid lounging in the front of the TV as much as possible.

If you want to make it easier to burn some energy you can hire a spin bike from us for the three week’s that our classes cease. Hop on the bike whenever you have a spare few minutes, even 10 minutes a day is better than nothing.

We can deliver a spin bike to you the weekend of 15th & 16th December and collect it on 5th & 6th January – 3 weeks hire costs £35. Banish that tubby tummy!

Marriott’s Way Cycle Ride 16th September

Join us on 16th September for a leisurely days cycling along the Marriott’s Way Route to Aylsham, where we will stop for a spot of lunch before contining on the Bure Valley Railway line from Aylsham to Hoveton.

Distance Approx = 36 miles

Start Time 10am from the Norwich end of Marriott’s Way –

If you wish to cycle into Norwich with us we will be leaving Hoveton at 9am, this will bring up the total miles to approx 45.

This ride will be at a  leisurely pace.   Contact us if you are interested.
